Hovland Conservatory offers pedagogy training in The Conservatory Course, a classical curriculum developed by Hovland Conservatory, unique among modern curriculums in its comprehensive and systematic approach to strong technique and reading skills right from the start. This program is open to piano players and teachers of any level and experience seeking professional growth, future employment or personal enrichment.

The Conservatory Course consists of Levels 0–9. Teachers and players may train through any level they choose, with Levels 0–3 providing the essential foundation for general pedagogical understanding.
